Yes of course! As long as your wedding takes place within a 50 km radius of Erfurt I will make it myself! For any further destinations you have to provide the travel costs or transportation.
For anything outside of a 50km radius of Erfurt, lodging also needs to be provided. In general it is better to be near the actual location to be able to film as early and late as possible.
What is the length of the video you will provide?
There will be an edit with more detailed content around 15 min. long. (It can vary between 7 and 20 min.) PLUS a trailer with a length between 30 seconds and 3 minutes.
Which format will the result be in?
It will be a digital file in at least 1080 HD delivered to you, PLUS a vimeo/ youtube link. If you like DVDs, it can be done too.
How long do I have to wait for the finished video?
The edit is quite time consuming and might be in a holding position with other projects. So it can take between 1 and up to 6 months. Of course I try to get it to you as soon as possible but more importantly: as good as possible. Quality takes time.
The average is 2 months which I believe is a good moment after the wedding to watch the video.
Can you film a wedding in Italian for example?
Preferably as long as the speeches and celebration itself is hold in english / german (maybe some Spanish) it is fine. As I like to work with the spoken word, it is necessary for me to understand it in the editing process. So I am able to create a beautiful capture of the day.
How does it work?
If you are interested or even sure that you want to get your wedding video done by me, then simply get in contact.
I will check the availability and get back to you - clear possible questions on both sides (actual meeting or a skype call, if you prefer, is fine too). You would then get an agreement to sign and make a pre-payment of 30 % deposit of the total cost.
Around 1 month before the wedding, we have an actual meeting to talk about the last and important informations.
I will also need to know your shedual for the day , so I can be as ready as possible for any magic moment. It would be great if you can find a gap of 10 minutes, so we can create some beautiful images of you two.
Then the day it self comes, which I like to document and follow from the first moments of getting ready and welcoming friends to the last swinging person on the dance floor or whatever will happen at your wedding.
If possible, it would be a great addition to meet you the day before. It would be a good warm up for the wedding itself, interviewing each of you for 15 min.
The edit and delivery of the final result is following and completes the process.
The full payment is requested two weeks after the final video was sent.
What happens if the unexpected happens?
If you cancel your booking before the wedding happens, which we hope will not happen anyway, you can get a total refund up to 2 months and 80% of the total cost up to 3 weeks before the wedding day.
How big is your crew?
It is just me. It keeps the actual wedding more focused on whats happening and private. the visuals will be more artistic, as well as the cost affordable.
What if i don´t agree with something in the final edit?
If there is an uncle dancing too crazy for your video or anything else you wish would not be seen, you can communicate this after the result has been delivered to you within 2 weeks. You will get one reedit included (Meaning little changes, which are not more time consuming than a day of work editing.)
Can i choose the music?
I want to make sure everything is right and legal and work with special licensed music, which does mainly not include a lot of mainstream and well known music. It is a big shame and I hope this can change over some time too.
Anyway I put a lot of work into finding the right music for your video. This is another reason, why I choose the music, regarding what will be the best with your edit. Your favorite song might be nice and great for your dance, but not always work for the specific edit of your day. Let´s call it creative freedom of the filmmaker.
